Sue Andersen
Seattle Children's Hospital
With more than 20 years of experience in health care, Sue Andersen has extensive knowledge of emergency management, the environment of care, and safety. As a Paramedic and a Paramedic Instructor, she developed a special interest in pediatrics, emergency management, and disaster preparedness. She holds a PhD in Healthcare Administration, a master's degree in emergency management, and a master's degree in healthcare informatics. Additionally, she is internationally certified as a healthcare safety professional (CHSP), emergency disaster professional (CEDP), and healthcare facilities manager (CHFM), demonstrating her global expertise.
Currently, she serves as the Director of Emergency Management Systems and Safety Officer for Seattle Children's Hospital, overseeing safety and emergency management programs in the Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska regions.
