Nick Waite

Nick is employed by the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin as the Director of External Affairs with over 19 years of experience in anatomical donation. He oversees 155 hospital Accounts for the Lions Eye Bank throughout the state and works with Hospital Executive Teams and Unit Managers as well as Medical Examiners/Coroners, Hospice Staff and Funeral Home Directors to facilitate process improvement with Eye Donation. In addition, Nick oversees Marketing and Communications, Community Outreach and Family Services. As an Executive, Nick served as Secretary of the Board for Donate Life Wisconsin for the 2022-2024 term. Prior to employment with Lions Eye Bank, Nick spent 12 years with RTI Donor Services as a Senior Development Specialist working with tissue donor programs in Wisconsin and Florida. He served on the Ethics Committee for Health First Health System and Donate Life Florida as Data Chair. Nick is a Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) granted by the American Association of Tissue Banks and holds a Masters Degree in Forensic Science.
