Mitchel Reuter is working to promote higher-level thinking in EMS providers by pushing the boundaries of conventional EMS education. To push these boundaries he looks at the underlying science of the body to understand the Why's and Hows of medicine. To promote this education, Mitch's experiences have included almost 15 years of EMS experience, ranging from volunteer EMT services to large metropolitan areas working as a paramedic and critical care provider. Mitch also have a wide range of personal education, including an Associate's, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degree. With majors ranging from advanced sciences to emergency medical services. Currently, he is attending school at the University of Wisconsin Madison for a PhD in curriculum and instruction with his research focusing on EMS education.
